Hola Amer,
Te dejo algo más de información:
Simpsonichthys ilheusensis, new species, is described from an isolated coastal basin near Ilhéus, Bahia State, northeastern Brazil. It is diagnosed by a distal marginal black stripe on the anal fin, which is absent in all other species of the subgenus Ophthalmolebias. It is similar to S. suzarti from the coastal plains adjacent to the Pardo River, by both having alternating dark reddish brown and light greenish blue bars on the whole flank in males, a condition unique among species of Ophthalmolebias. It differs from S. suzarti by having the dorsal fin more posteriorly placed in males, more caudal and pectoral-fin rays and more scales in the longitudinal series, deeper body and longer pectoral fin.
